How to get every photo of your party in one place
At a party everybody takes photos, and the next day you have three. Not because people will not share, but because nobody asks at the moment it is easy. This is how you do ask.
Card on the table, code on the board by the bar
Print the cards that come with your album and put one on every table, at the bar and at the entrance. At a party without tables, hang the board by the door or the barbecue. Nothing more is needed; the code only has to be seen once.
What actually makes people scan is one sentence from the host, out loud, once everyone has arrived: if you take a photo, scan the card and it will be on the screen tonight. That sentence does more than all the cards together.
Approval on, because you do not know everyone
At a birthday you know your guests. At an anniversary, a garden party or a housewarming there is always a table you know at one remove, and then you do not want every photo visible to everyone at once. Turn approval on: every photo comes to you first, and with one tap it is in the album or stays out.
It does not cost you the evening. You do it in between on your phone, ten photos at a time, and whatever you do not look at simply waits until tomorrow. Guests notice nothing; they only see what has been approved.
Turn the screen on, and the next table joins in by itself
The slideshow on a television or projector is the difference between twenty and two hundred photos. Every photo that comes in appears there, and whoever sees their own photo sends three more. Whoever sees it on the screen from the next table picks up their own phone. The screen asks for photos so you do not have to.
No big screen? A laptop on the bar with the slideshow open does the same job, smaller. What matters is that people see their photo somewhere.
The days after: the message, the zip and extending
Most of it arrives after the party, when people scroll through their phone. So leave the album open for at least two weeks and send one message with the link in the group chat after a few days. That usually brings in more than the whole evening.
Then you download everything as one zip, at full resolution, neatly per album if you had several. If you want to keep the album open longer, you extend it from your dashboard; that is not a decision for today.
What it costs with fifty or a hundred guests
The same. The entry package costs €20.95, once, for 45 days, and there is no limit on the number of guests or on photos per guest. Only a limit per file of 500 MB applies. Your guests never pay anything and install nothing.
For a small party you can stay on the free trial album: a real album with your own cards, no payment details. If it grows or you want longer online, you pick a package and everything stays. If it does not work, you get your money back.

Can I collect photos at my party for free?
To begin with, yes: you create a real trial album with your own QR cards, with no payment details. If you then want more room or longer online, you pick a package. The entry package is €20.95, paid once, and your guests never pay anything.
Do my guests have to install an app?
No. They scan the QR code with the ordinary camera on their phone and land on a web page. No app, no account, no password. That is also why it works with older guests.
What if somebody sends in a photo I do not want?
Then you remove it with one tap. If you would rather see things first, turn approval on and you see every photo before anyone else does. At a party with many guests you have not met, that is the setting we recommend.
How long do the photos stay up?
45 days on the entry package, counted from the moment you publish. In that time you download everything as one zip at full resolution. Keeping it longer is always possible, from your dashboard.
Does this work without tables, at a garden party for instance?
Yes. Then the card is not on a table but the board hangs by the bar, the door or the barbecue, and you put the slideshow on a television that can be seen from the terrace. Someone scans the code on the welcome board in passing; the television makes sure the rest follow.
How many photos does it produce?
Roughly half your guests join in when the card can be seen and the screen is on, and those who do send a handful to a few dozen photos each. With fifty guests that adds up to well over a hundred, at a big anniversary to a few hundred. Most of it arrives in the days after.
Can guests still send photos after the party?
Yes, as long as the album is open. That is exactly when most photos come: the day after, when people scroll through their phone. Send one message with the link in the group chat after a few days, and leave the album open for at least two weeks.
