photos from a club night or tournament
A season's worth of photos, from everyone on the sideline
At a club it is not one person taking the photos but a hundred people taking a few: a shot from the stands, a video of the winning goal. One page for the whole season, an album per tournament or performance, and at the end you have an archive instead of a folder full of screenshots.

Approval
onAt an association there are children in the photos and not everybody knows everybody. With approval on, someone from the board sees every photo before it is visible. That is not a luxury here.
Multiple administrators
coming soonToday one account manages the page, and that account can hand the login to whoever comes next. Once multiple administrators works it lands in every package, at no extra cost.

What a member sees after scanning the QR in the clubhouse
They pick the evening or the tournament and add their photos. No accounts for parents or members, and nothing is visible before the board has seen it.

how to run it
How to build a photo archive for the whole season
At a club nobody is the photographer and everybody is a bit. The problem is never too few photos, but that they sit on a hundred phones and are gone after a season. This is the setup that fixes that, for a year.
One page for the season, an album per tournament
Create one page for the season, not one per match. Under that page you make albums: the opening tournament, the club championships, the December performance, the anniversary. Up to 25, and members pick where their photo belongs as they upload.
The QR code stays the same all year. Hang it in the clubhouse, by the bar and in the changing room, and put the link once in the newsletter and the club app. After that nobody has to ask.
Children, parents and the GDPR
In a youth section the photos are of children, and not every parent wants that. Turn approval on: every photo comes to the board first and is only in the album after one tap. A parent who does not want photos of their child says so, and you do not approve those or you remove them.
The album can only be seen by whoever has the link. Nothing is public, nothing is findable through Google, and the photos are stored on servers in the EU. That is a different story from the club's public Facebook page, and you can explain it to parents that way.
The board changes, the page stays
A club has a new secretary every few years, and with every change a folder of photos disappears on a laptop. So tie the page to an address of the club, not of a person. The page sits on one account, and handing it over is changing the email address and the password.
Several administrators side by side does not exist yet; it is on the roadmap and will come in every package without extra cost. Until then the account shares its login with whoever needs in.
Club night on the screen in the clubhouse
Turn the slideshow on on the television in the clubhouse. During a tournament the photos from the stands appear there while the next match is on, and that is what makes the rest of the club pick up their phones. At a performance or an anniversary the projector does the same job.
Afterwards the album stays open. Most of it arrives in the days after, when members scroll through their phone; one message in the club app with the link does more than the whole evening.
What it costs per season, and the archive at the end
The package this page names costs €47.95, once, for 365 days: one season, with room for 25 albums. No subscription, no limit on members or photos per member; only a limit per file of 7.5 GB. Members never pay anything and install nothing.
At the end of the season you download the whole archive as one zip, sorted per album, at full resolution. That is what the year-long term is for: the season is together before the new one starts.
What boards ask us
Are we allowed to publish photos of children?
Only with the parents' consent, and the association arranges that itself: we supply the tooling. With approval on, nothing is visible before someone from the board has looked at it. Taking a photo down always works and works immediately, even once it was visible.
Can we fit several events a year into this?
Yes. You create an album per occasion under the same page, up to 25 of them. The QR in the clubhouse stays the same all year.
Can the page pass to a new board?
Yes. The page belongs to one account, and you hand it over by changing the email address and the password. Several administrators side by side does not exist yet.
Can we download the archive?
Yes, everything in one zip and at full resolution. That is what the year-long term is for: at the end of the season you pull the archive down in one go.
Can members send videos of the match or the performance too?
Yes, up to 7.5 GB per file. The winning goal, the final chord, the speech at the anniversary: they arrive as video and sit in the same album as the photos.
Can we make a separate album per team or group?
Yes. Under the same page you make up to 25 albums, so an album per team, per tournament or per performance. Members pick where their photo belongs as they upload, and the QR code in the clubhouse stays the same all season.
What if a member does not want photos of themselves or their child?
Then they tell the board and you remove the photos, one tap per photo. Turn approval on if you want to catch this beforehand: then nothing enters the album before someone on the board has looked. What is allowed beyond that is in our article on the GDPR at clubs and schools.
How do we share the photos with members without making them public?
With the link, in the newsletter or the club app. The album can only be seen by whoever has the link; nothing is public or findable through Google, and the photos are stored on servers in the EU. Anyone who is not a member and does not have the link sees nothing.
